PCB connectors for customised special solutions

The company Fischer Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG offers its customers an extensive product range of different connectors. In particular, the PCB connectors are available with different surface finishes and in various pitches of 2.54 mm, 2.00 mm and 1.27 mm. Due to the fact that Fischer Elektronik manufactures these products themselves, the available connectors from the standard range can also be modified and adapted according to customer-specific requirements. In this way each application receives its own connector solution according to its requirements.

Special contact configurations or angled connections can be based on standard connectors. Further possibilities for customisation are given by the positioning of the insulating bodies being used. Those are variable for the standard male and female headers or can be adapted according to specifications. Additional insulating bodies can also be fitted to cover exposed contact surfaces.

If you cannot find a suitable standard connector for your application, special connectors according to customer drawings can sometimes be realised. The required tool designs as well as the construction of the injection moulding tools for the plastic insulating body are carried out in our in-house toolmaking department. Last but not least, Fischer Elektronik take customer wishes into account when it comes to the surface of the individual contacts and implement them in a targeted manner. A variation of the layer thickness as well as the composition of the contact coatings is possible. For the necessary assembly of the customer-specific connectors, the corresponding devices and tools are also developed and manufactured in-house.
