Miniature aluminium cases with integrated fastening for mounting rail

The diverse range of applications for electronic assemblies and electronic devices requires flexible, customisable cases with various functional properties. The AKG miniature aluminium cases from Fischer Elektronik consist of two extruded aluminium profiles, which can be combined with each other in various designs to create different height and width dimensions. An optimised tongue & groove connection ensures secure assembly of the profiles to each other, with the open ends being sealed with 2 mm thick cover panels. The 1.8 mm wide internal guide grooves integrated into the profiles enable the insertion of Eurocards with a width of 100 mm.

Fischer Elektronik is expanding the current product portfolio of the case series AKG-105 with four new designs with an additional practical function. For quick and easy mounting of the case designs on a DIN rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715 TH 35, the new case cross-sections have an integrated fastening for mounting rail. In addition an adapted stainless steel spring is firmly pressed into the special geometry of the mounting rail bracket, ensuring that the miniature aluminium cases are held securely on the rail. As standard, the cases are available in six different lengths (80, 100, 120, 160, 200, 220 mm) and in black anodised (SA) and natural anodised (ME) finishes.

In addition to the standard designs, aluminium miniature cases can be machined, surface-treated and printed according to customer specifications.
