When using PCB connectors, excellent quality and short delivery times are at least as important as machine-compatible packaging. For this reason, Fischer Elektronik also offers female headers in 1.27 mm grid as standard in a bar magazine now to simplify the assembly process and promote automation. The articles BLM 1 SMD and BLM 2 SMD are available in the bar magazine now!

The new bar packaging is characterised by its high precision and reliability, which enables seamless integration into automated assembly systems. This leads to a significant reduction in downtimes and an increase in overall productivity. As a result, the costs of assembly are also significantly reduced.
The packaging offers optimum protection for the connectors against damage and other environmental influences during transport and storage. The plastic of the magazine achieves the best flame rating class UL94 V-0. With the new bar packaging we are continuing our focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. In addition we are continuously checking which new PCB connectors can be packaged in existing bar magazines to suit the application for reasons of standardisation. The aim is to provide a large number of items for automated assembly. If an application presents you with a particular challenge, it is possible to customise the bar magazines at any time.
Our 1.27 mm grid connectors are known for their high quality and reliability and are used in numerous industries, including electronics, aerospace and especially in the renewable energy industry. The smaller grid promotes miniaturisation and space saving on the PCB. There is also the option of applying Kapton points to the socket connectors to simplify the assembly process via suction. Depending on the number of contacts, up to 103 female headers fit into one bar magazine.
